VISION

Explore Montessori & Academy is an infant, toddler, & early education program that has been in operation since September 2020 in Bozeman, MT. The Explore Montessori Program Advisor, Nancy McNabb, has over 30 years of experience in Pre-Primary and Primary Montessori Education.

All infant, toddler, preschool and primary classes follow the Montessori Method based on the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. To meet the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, & young children, the carefully prepared environments offer hands-on materials to allow children to explore, make their own discoveries, work at their own pace, and experience the joy of learning.

Piccolo, our infant and toddler building, is separated into 3 small classes to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of pre-walking infants, toddlers and 2 year olds with low ratios of one adult to every four children.

The Preschool and Primary programs offer an authentic Montessori Primary Environment rich with hands-on materials, including lessons of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math and Cultural experiences. A trained, certified Montessori Guide will help connect each child to the material to spark their interest and fulfill their sensitive periods of development.
